CONSOLIDATION

Consolidation is the CARE and ATTENTION given to a new believer until the character of Christ is formed in him. It is an important process in making disciples and bearing fruit that will last. (John 15:16) It is a step where then new believer reaffirms his personal decision to follow Jesus. This is achieved through the care given to him.

OBJECTIVES OF CONSOLIDATION
• To look after every new believer until they bear fruit that lasts for the Lord.
• To reproduce the character of Christ in every new believer
• To retain in the church every new believer that God has placed in our care
• To turn every believer into a disciple-maker

CONSOLIDATION FORMS
The consolidation team collects data from the first time guests after the church services. The name, address and contact numbers are stored in the consolidation forms. These forms are well taken care of because they represent precious souls that need to be given special care and attention.
PHONE VISIT
The Phone Visit is a phone call made to the new believer 24-48 hours after the new believer made the decision to follow Christ. The purposes of which is to show genuine interest in the person; to reassure him that the church is praying for him; to win the confidence of the new believer and leave the doors open for a home visit.
HOME VISIT
Visiting the new believer where he lives is bringing the presence of Christ in that family. The purposes of which is to find out what his impression was when he attended church; to find out what their needs are, as a family and to minister to them under the guidance of the Holy Spirit; to connect them to a cell group that is close to their house and encourage them to get involved in the church activites especially to attend the Encounter Weekend.
