Women's EGR
Praise God for the 37 women delegates of our Encounter God Retreat! This was held last November 16 - 18 2012. Ate Jane and Jessa were successful in making sure that everything went very well during this important journey. The presence of God was very powerful as the delegates were impassioned in every discussions they had. Every bondage of sins were renounced and burned, every hearts healed.
During the EGR graduation we have heard different testimonies from ordinary people who have experienced extraordinary difficulties. A lonely child being verbally abused, a mother who had cancer and survived, an unappreciated student-they are just some of those who experienced freedom through the revelation of Jesus' cross. Thank God for His mercy and love!
Celebrating Life Through Balance Living
The first CMI Olympics was indeed a triumph! The atmosphere of teamwork was felt among the different networks. Unique indoor games were introduced during the first day and the spirit of cooperation was exhibited by everyone. The second day was a challenging yet a victorious time as each member of the four teams gave their best in playing fair and square. But more than the winning and the losing, camaraderie, discipline and unity are the values learned through this happening. As our theme for this year's sports fest explicitly tells us that we need to celebrate our lives by a balance living. As Jesus tells us, "I have come so that you may have life and that you may have it more abundantly."
A successful joint celebration!
Last October 21, 2012, Calvary Ministries International (CMI) celebrated a joint party at Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary (PBTS). This event was attended by the cell members at Trinidad and those from Baguio. The Praise and Worship team led each one in a powerful honoring of the Lord. Teachers and students of Calvary Ministries Academy (CMA) also blazoned their singing skills, in the celebration of the school's foundation. Truly, it was a great gathering of God's people!
